WHY IT EXISTS

Useful experiments need a place to run without turning every idea into a cloud bill or a fragile one-off laptop setup.

APPROACH

A clustered, self-hosted environment used to test containers, virtual machines, storage, service isolation, and workloads that need to stay close to the hardware.

SYSTEM NOTES

  • Compute and storage layers separated where practical
  • Containers and virtual machines matched to the job
  • Services treated as experiments first, then documented before they become depended on

TOOLS / AREAS

ProxmoxLinuxLXCVirtual MachinesDockerSelf-hosting

BUILD NOTES

  • Designed for hands-on testing rather than a polished lab brochure.
  • Public documentation intentionally leaves out private addressing, access paths, and security-sensitive configuration.
